      <content:encoded><![CDATA[My blower motor was getting squeaky on cold days sometimes, so I did what I&#039;ve done on past cars and ordered up a Four Seasons replacement. These used to be made in Canada and were high quality. What I got instead was a motor made in Mexico that whirred annoyingly at every speed. I went through two of them from RockAuto before I gave up and just got a refund.<br />

The only good thing about the aftermarket blower motors is that while the second one was in the car, I had an opportunity to try...<br />

Had to drill out the rubber bushings on the big one and had to press out the small one with a ball joint press. Then just used a saw to break the outer press ring. Realized that a sawzall is quicker. Once that was all done. I had to sand it down.]]></content:encoded>

<b>Solution A: </b>Buy a whole new door lock actuator assembly from Subaru for over $100, or take your chances on a used one from a junkyard.<br />
<br />
<b>Solution B: </b>Crack open the &quot;non-serviceable&quot; assembly and replace <a href="https://www.ebay.com/itm/111198111739" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">the crappy little brushed DC motor for under $10</a>.<br />

For a year or so my 2009 Forester Limited has been making this strange clunk when I turn the steering wheel to make 90° turn either way. Then usually after that on the highway the car will pull the direction that I just turned. It doesn&#039;t seem anything to do with alignment or the tie rod ends. It happened after I replaced the struts on all corners.  At first I thought it might be the struts but this never...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[The e-brake on my 2008 STI is no longer holding.  I have adjusted it as far as I can at the handle, so it looks like it needs to be adjusted at the wheels as well. However, I have aftermarket rotors that do not have the access hole. Does anyone know how I adjust the brake at the wheels without pulling the rotor. I prefer not to remove the caliber if I can help it, given the risk of stripping the caliper threads.<br />

This mod will allow you to use the windshield defrost and windshield/floor vent selection without your ac compressor running automatically.  There are already some posts on Scooby mods about this, but the pictures aren&#039;t the greatest and I&#039;m not using a soldering iron to remove any wires.<br />

It came with a extra driveline from an 07 WRX he purchased from a member on NASIOC.  As my friend noticed, this type of swap is not easy and has a lot of issues when performing it with the existing wiring; nightmare after nightmare of issue when just repining the 4eat Bulkhead harness.  I am sure I was the first to think of this, but I got to thinking if I also replaced the 4EAT bulkhead harness with a 5mt...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hi subaru community I could not find a DIY on rear bearings with many pictures so I had an opportunity to replace mine on a 03 wrx but the same should apply from 02-07 wrx sti. You will need some way of pressing these things out I used a 12ton hydraulic press.<br />

My 2009 wrx had a similar problem from the factory clarion unit. And they are not easy to adjust.  The model number in my car is CV629UM. You can see the # on the bottom right corner of the radio.<br />

Key in the ACC position. Radio off. Hold buttons 1 and 4 down and tap the tune button. The display should say Through Mode. <br />

I&#039;m looking to see what everybody else has done with locking the cams when replacing the timing belt. I&#039;m not doing anything with the cam seals. I know Co. 23 makes a locking tool for like $50 plus shipping. I was hoping you guys would have another solution. The tricks I have used in the past wont work on a Subie. <br />
