A couple of questions:
What is the easiest/best way to include a photo in a new post without bumping up against the file size limit?

Can the author of a post add a photo after the post is created? If so, what are the steps?

I have been struggling to upload photos lately. I have tried both from the computer and phone, and frequently get an "image is too large" message. I have never had this issue until recently, and I have not changed the formatting or anything that I have been saving the files. I was about to get our SSL cert renewed, updated Xenforo and our mods to the latest versions, and I was able to get our linodes upgraded. Along the way we also changed the cache for the mysql, so we should no longer run into the memory error on searches.

As always, if you find anything weird, please let me know.

I am going to have some more free time that I will be able to dedicate to the site,...

Our Linode servers are in need up some updates. There are some hardware updates that need to take place on their side, plus I will also be doing updates to all the server side software.

Xenforo and our list of add-ons also need to be updated. There are a couple of large Xenforo updates along with most of our add-ons that will need to be updated to go along with the software update....

Linode has to shut down and reboot all of our servers to install a security update on their end. It is a 2 hour window that will happen from 3-5AM.

With any luck, everything will boot back up and be online. If not, MNS will just be down until I get home to get it back online again. I should be home around noon.

This downtime was for a Xenforo update. This was part of the large update I was planning on doing a couple of weeks ago. Along the way XF released another update, so I installed both X updates and got all of our add-ons up to date.

So as of now, the only add-on that needs updating is the tapatalk add-on. It is being download as I type this out. So hopefully by the end of the afternoon the whole site will be updated to the latest and...
