My cousin sent an email to extended family last weekend. They are not mechanical, at all, and they had had a couple mechanics tell them that this car wasn't really worth fixing. Would anyone in the family be interested in it.

Alright so I got this great idea at work where I can't do it so I'll do it tonight.

Any way I propose we post a simple pic of ourselves with our corresponding car(s).

For example I would take a pic of me and my car or me then my car seperately, and post them. This is so me and other members can get to know the name, face, and car with the username. Alot of you guys know each other and we meet at events but it would be a more formal intro.

Had a meet and greet with @pinjasaur (Paul) today. He’s got the awesome blue 6 speed bugeye that was on CarsandBids. I’ve been dying to check it out and he let me go for a spin. Well, I've been contemplating replacing my Celica for years. I could sort of put a child seat in the front passenger seat, but because of how the convertible is made (starts as a coupe in Japan, and modified in California), there are no upper child seat anchors. I wasn't really OK with that, and I wanted something....more.

So its a bit of a strange story, I bought this Silver 2000 2.5RS coupe I think off of a member here, but I cannot find the post. Close to new years 2016. I got it because it was nicer than my current (at the time) silver 99 RS. It needed an engine due to headgasket failure and popped out of 5th gear. My wife has been lusting after every Baja she's seen for years. And I have been looking for one for sale, but they're stupid expensive, and thanks to all the plastic, are generally rusted out (the local ones, anyway).

And, I want an H6, anyway. So why pay a premium for a fully-functioning one when I'm going to gut it anyway? Ideally, I'd been looking for a flood car....

Picked up this unicorn in Tampa. After a 1,734 mile road trip she’s got only 75k miles. Some of you know some of this, but here are the facts:
-Built in Japan on the same assembly line as the Subaru WRX.
-Only 235 built worldwide (only in North America market) with manual transmission.
-Came in three colors. This is 1 of 35 in red, extremely rare.
-This car has cold weather and moonroof, which is also extremely rare as these are separate options on the Saab and very few were built with both.

Yes, Subaru Vivios' are that small!

Many of you know, or know of, my 4Runner. I've had this rig for almost 5 years now.....and put about 1k miles on it in that time. it started life as an '87 turbo SR5 with an automatic, had a rough life, culminating in being run out of oil. 300 miles later....rod knock. Shortly after that, it came to be mine. it spent most of it's existence in Colorado, so it's very solid....

Some of you probably saw a 1998 Outback in the for sale section not long ago, fairly clean with low miles (for its age) but in need of some TLC. Most notably a head replacement but the car came with a plethora of spare parts. Not long ago I spontaneously decided to treat myself to a new steering wheel to replace my chunky 4-spoke Momo. I wanted something OEM (retaining the airbag) but sportier and higher quality, so I got a 3-spoke Impreza wheel which was then wrapped in Alcantara by Redline Goods. Highly recommend them by the way, outstanding customer service and very good craftsmanship, just a little pricey. The finished product just arrived yesterday, looks and feels great.

I purchased the car off of a member on here on July 14th 2016, with intent on just fixing the engine issues and replacing the transmission to make it a solid daily, But then I found out how easy it is to DOHC swap these cars using EJ20G parts because the wiring is very similar, so with that in mind, the build got more expensive.

Not sure how many of you saw my WRX when I bought it from Alabama ten years ago but it looked a lot different than it does now and honestly a lot different than how I wanted it to. Wingless OEM trunk, no fogs or covers, peeling clearcoat, and some very out of place 20" chrome wheels (maybe it was cool in the dirty south back then).

Over the years I've changed a LOT of it, sometimes only to change...
