I am the proud owner of a new 2021 WRX in WRB with a 6sp. I was lucky to pick up some STI wheels from a coworker with new Pilot Sport tires. From there, I put snow tires on the OEM wheels. Otherwise, my WRX stock.

During college, I had a 1994 Mazda Miata that I had a lot of fun with at local AutoX in STS2 (basic bolt on street mods, coilovers, sway bars, wheels/tires, intake, exhaust, etc). From there, I built a couple road racing Miatas for the Chump Car cheap car...

I own 06 Subaru Forester X. I fear it has a gasket leak. Its not that bad so far (engine is not overheating or worse) but I want it fixed. Subaru has been a reliable family car and I want it in worry free (it was for a couple of years).

Does anyone have a recommendation of a reasonable priced shop which does a good job? I can be helper (I would love to) if needed. I can get parts as well so just may need manual...

I’m Paul, a fellow forum lurker but I finally had a chance to make an intro thread while I'm on paternity leave! My Wife is all for letting me keep my Bugeye 03' WRX since its car seat compatible and the Scoobie rumble with a Sti up-pipe + Cobb DP + Borla turbo back makes my son fall asleep immediately.

Mostly stock with some light mods replacing worn out OEM over the years (brakes, engine & tranny mounts, proper aluminum radiator, exhaust, mild tune, wheels + tires, etc.)....

I got my first Subaru ('03 WRX) when I was in the Military, been pretty heavy in the car scene every since.

My car is currently down right now, I've got the engine and most everything needed for the swap sitting in my garage, hopefully when I get her fixed I'll be able to contribute more here.

While I'm on the subject, if anyone here is local to Minneapolis and willing to let me rent an engine...

I moved from Southern CA to Spicer MN this spring to be with my gf. She has an ‘09 Forester X Limited and i drove it a bit on visits through the winter.. i fell in love with Subaru and AWD and decided to get myself a bit of a project/winter car. Found this ‘02 WRX wagon that was tuned by Nuke & Fuji who i have discovered are no longer around.. but it was a good deal and I love it so far!
